Joan Miró Foundation

The Fundació Joan Miró, located on the scenic hill of Montjuïc, is a modern art museum dedicated to the life and works of Catalan artist Joan Miró. Designed by architect Josep Lluís Sert, a close friend of Miró, the museum itself is a piece of modernist art, providing the perfect backdrop for the largest collection of Miró’s works. The collection includes over 14,000 pieces, comprising paintings, sculptures, textiles, and drawings. The foundation frequently hosts temporary exhibitions and offers a variety of educational programs that celebrate Miró’s experimental spirit and encourage visitors to explore their own creativity.
