Anne Frank House

The Anne Frank House is one of Amsterdam's most poignant and visited sites. Located on Prinsengracht, it is the actual house where Anne Frank, the young Jewish diarist, hid with her family from Nazi persecution during World War II. The museum preserves the original hiding place and exhibits historical documents, photographs, and personal items belonging to Anne and her family. Visitors can walk through the secret annex, gaining a profound understanding of the harrowing experiences described in Anne's diary. The museum serves as a powerful reminder of the horrors of war and the resilience of the human spirit.
