Tate Modern

The Tate Modern is Britain's national gallery of international modern art and is housed in the former Bankside Power Station on the River Thames. Opened in 2000, it features works by artists such as Picasso, Warhol, and Hockney. The gallery is known for its innovative and often provocative exhibitions, as well as its stunning views of the river and St. Paul's Cathedral from the top-floor café. The building's industrial architecture and the vast Turbine Hall, which hosts large-scale installations, make it a landmark in contemporary art.
