Astronomical Clock

The Astronomical Clock, or Prague Orloj, is a medieval marvel situated on the southern wall of the Old Town Hall. Installed in 1410, it is the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest one still in operation. The clock features an elaborate mechanism with rotating statues of the Twelve Apostles, a calendar dial, and a zodiacal ring. Every hour, crowds gather to watch the clock's animated show, which includes a figure of Death striking the time. The Astronomical Clock is a symbol of Prague's rich history and engineering prowess.
